With over 44 years of banking expertise in Consumer, Small Business, Commercial, and Real Estate Banking, Bill Smith has brought invaluable knowledge and guidance to Entrepreneur Works. For more than two decades, he served as a Regional Manager in Community Development, focusing on economic growth in underserved communities. Bill’s extensive experience in financial services directly aligned with Entrepreneur Works’ goals of providing access to capital and resources for entrepreneurs who need them most.
Throughout his involvement, Bill has championed small business development, helping to create a pathway for hundreds of entrepreneurs to thrive. His insight and leadership have been instrumental in expanding Entrepreneur Works’ ability to serve a diverse range of clients, ensuring equitable opportunities for all.

In addition to his banking career, Bill has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Urban Affairs Coalition, Esperanza Board of Directors, PIDC New Market Tax Credit Advisory Board, and LaSalle University President’s Advisory Committee.

Military and Fraternal Service: Bill Smith’s Broader Legacy
In addition to his contributions to Entrepreneur Works, Bill has demonstrated a deep commitment to service through his military career. He served for over 20 years in the United States Army and Army Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His military service further exemplifies his leadership and dedication to his community.
Bill is also a Life Member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., a testament to his lifelong commitment to mentorship, brotherhood, and service. He continues to support veterans through his involvement in the Military Officers Association of America and the American Legion.
